I am delighted. As a foreigner, I could not contribute, but I had donated a fair sum of money for the anti-drone systems on both occasions. I will now donate another USD 100 to support the Ukrainian army in their full marathon to freedom.
Hi Dr Snyder - Thank you for everything you do! So sorry, but I am already donating to the campaign and to a lot of Dem candidates plus Razom every month (and Safe Skies once). I can only donate in spirit and support for you right now. I also signed up yesterday to do phonebanking. May we defeat the fascist wannabe and his minions for another election cycle.
Janis, feel really good about what you are already doing, not only about your gifts to down ballot candidates and charities for Ukraine that Tim has recommended, but especially about the work of connecting directly with voters. It is way more difficult to get folks to do that kind of work than it is to raise money. Seriously, you rock!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! $42,000 in donations (plus those who didn’t tell you their donation amounts)! Congratulations!
And also, thanks so much for letting me know that in late October your On Freedom book tour is coming to Oklahoma City. Knowing you will be in the heartland of America… And a pretty red state at that… Gives me hope that even Oklahoma can be part of the solution to creating a more free America for us all. See you there!
Yay! Hope it's not too hot where you are running. Already checked my mail-in status and I'm good to go for the elections in this red state (FL). Small contributions by many are mighty!!

So great how much was raised. Thanks so much for doing the run and putting yourselves on the line so to speak to run the distance!
Dr. Snyder, I was thinking this morning that I hope you can serve as an advisor to Kamala and Tim on Ukraine and democracy in general. Thanks for considering that.
Cool idea, Susan! He has already been ask for Congressional testimony as an expert witness on multiple occasions, so I think Democrats in Washington DC have his number:)
Piercing the veil that separates us, one from the other, is an accomplishment that must be done with the utmost patience and consideration .
The separation between us is exemplified in intolerance and is made manifest in indifference.
I came upon these two concepts about 60 years ago as a young activist in the Civil Rights and later on in anti-war Movement. I attribute our intractable incapacity to surmount Intolerance and Indifference, as intensifying the suffering we foist upon ourselves and one another.
By separating ourselves on the basis of religion, economic status education , language, and cultural and environmental proximity- we add to our woes. By seeking common ground and recognizing our shared humanity, we can establish the fractured trust that is broken by persistent conflict.
While it’s significant that “conflict is the essence of drama,” we need to differentiate between fact and fiction. Introducing “alternative facts”, allows a blurring of truth and fantasy. Clearly, “the theater of war”, is not comparable to classic tragedy and yet we seem to accept intentional harm as being the price of a movie ticket.
If you want to de-escalate violence, you have to be willing to pay more for disarming than you do for mutual destruction!
Let’s retire intolerance and indifference and give peace a chance. What a concept! And don’t be naive, it’s not free. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

PS - I put my money where my mouth is. Just gave them $250, and wish I could add some zeroes behind that.
Yes, that is a good place
Thank You!

FYI, non-citizens who hold a green card can also donate to political campaigns.
That's good to know. Unfortunately, I do not qualify. I hold Hungarian and British passports.

Why do l feel like such a hero? Because I have not succumbed to cynicism and despair!
Keep focusing and maintaining a healthy mind and body! What a challenge in these
overwhelming times.

Hi Dr. Snyder — I’ve been contributing to Act Blue. Thank you for plumbing the depths of authoritarianism for our greater awareness.
Best to you and your family.
Bravo! You really are 'walking the walk' by running. Happy to be able to support in a small way!
wooo hooo!
Fantastic!
