Thank you. I will order now. Your knowledge and work are so appreciated and necessary, especially now. Keep writing, keep talking. So much disinformation and ignorance needs light shined on it.
Just finished the expanded audio book! Thank you! This would be good focus for a “book club” or community discussion group. Is anyone here doing this, and if so have guidance on how to structure?
Oh, this is excellent, Professor Snyder! I ordered the audio book yesterday, and have just started reading Serhii Plokhy's "The Gates of Europe: A History of Europe," Rev. ed. (2021), and hope to start his "The Origins of the Slavic Nations: Premodern Identities in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus" (2006), afterwards. Ideally, I want to have read those 2 + your "Reconstruction of Nations" before listening to the audio book, so I can be better prepared for your new 20 Lessons. BTW, you said in one of your paper-readings on youtube that you've taught a course in the ancient history of the geographical area we're talking about, going back to the Vikings, but looking at the Yale website, I can't find such a course and so don't know which books you require. I also have Paul Robert Magosci's "A History of Ukraine: The Lands and its Peoples," 2nd ed. (2010). I know you're busy! But if you have time, could you please list any books/articles you require for that course that I haven't mentioned? Thank you.
Hey! Fabulous! I'll share this info around as well. Have been donating through Razom and so glad to do it. Reading The Road to Unfreedom again and as I've told others, it could have been published today. I keep hoping and praying that Russia will withdraw its forces but I have no idea how that can happen. The worst thing for Ukraine, as it is for all places in the world where there is armed warfare going on, is that it goes on for not just months but years. Putin controls Russia but he's out of control where international law is concerned. That's the troubling situation now.
Ordered as well. You’re a leading light on this topic and on Ukraine. I look forward to hearing how you extend understanding of Putin’s invasion and crimes against humanity in Ukraine. Thank you.
Ordered. Have been supporting Razom, seeking out additional reliable news sources from Ukraine, and helping how I am able. We have so much to learn from Ukraine! Thank you for this new project!
Thank you for this. Your work is critical to humanity. I'm sharing this like mad.
Ordered. Counting the days. Thanks so much!

Yes, I have ordered too. But Audible says the length is 5 hours, vs. the 10 hours you describe here?
Many thanks for the insights!

Thank you. Is there any news about UK availability? And/or a print/eprint edition?
Just ordered.
