That's, fantastic, Prof. Snyder! I continue to be impressed by Ukrainians' ability to develop and invent new things, as well as their cleverness in general. It's still too early to say much about the Kursk operation, but its planners seem to have thought of everything including, for instance, planning ahead for the destruction of the incoming Russian convoy at the beginning. Then of course there is their humor after capturing the command post of the 28th Rifle Battalion. The linked video from Dmitri @wartranslated serves two purposes: 1. it *shows* that the command post has been captured, and 2. it makes fun of the Russian leadership; dictators and authoritarians are of course known for being thin-skinned. For example, towards the end of the video one of the soldiers picks up the receiver of a desk phone and pretends to call Shoigu by talking into the wrong end of the phone. ''Shoigu! Gerasimov! Where is ammo?'' If there were ever to be a Ukrainian Black Adder, this would be the first episode.
