I received an email from UNITED 24 on Tuesday to help Ukrainians, and donated immediately. Will follow through first thing tomorrow morning on your suggestions. Have been watching videos all day. Ukrainians are saving every animal they come across, even rodent-like creatures. They are pulling as many people and animals onto the boats as possible, even under fire.
For anyone interested, I just read this horrifying article in today's Guardian--an interview of Zelens'kyi--about all of the pollutants that will be washed into the Black Sea, possibly including anthrax. "The Ukrainian president said the flood waters raging through the lower Dnipro River valley brought with them sewage, oil, chemicals and possibly anthrax from animal burial sites. 'At least two anthrax burial places are in the temporarily occupied territories,' Zelenskiy said through an interpreter in an online discussion with environmental activists. 'What is happening to those sites we do not know yet.'"
Never have a I seen a people more filled with light and LIFE than Ukraine. They are the spirit that brought us here. We must come together, do all we can, build and rebuild.
