I think the folks sitting in that space needed to be surprised and shocked at the violence Ukrainians of all ages and conditions are enduring.

The husband has a brother and sister in the southwestern Ukrainian city of Chernivstsi near the Romanian border. A nephew just left Portland to help refugees in Poland. The couple brightened when I told them how much (most) Americans deeply support Ukrainians and admire their courage.
I'm the director in charge at my church for outreach. I wondering if there's ways to bring in a large group of people to this. I've gone before my parish and made appeals for help before and they've been tremendously helpful. I just would need to have the process ironed out. Furthermore, I might be able to plug in my faith community with Ukrainian faith communities where I live. Thoughts? Suggestions? I think what's going on in Ukraine warrants an emergency appeal.
Hi - I've been trying to donate to various groups in Ukraine, but my banks keeps denying my transactions even after giving approval. Any tips for getting around this? I want to help more, but need help getting around this roadblock. My wife and I will try the Paypal route. I have been able to donate to Razom.
