Yes. Yesterday I was surprised to find myself doing something could never have imagined 3 weeks ago, donating to a military. Action prayer, Come Back Alive. Thank you for showing me and others the opportunity.

Thank you Tim supplying these resources so that the people of Ukraine can defend themselves and so that we, sitting with the discomfort of being comfortable in our homes here, can do something meaningful.

I have spoken to people in Kviv at Come Back Alive and their gratitude is profound.

Thank you again for this information. I've shared it to FB and have decided to make a monthly donation as well. I'm not drinking any coffee outside my own home as it is and not going to restaurants. Definitely an upside to the pandemic - more money in the bank. I listened to President Zelenskyy's address to the German Bundestag today, and read about it in the Suedeutschezeitung. As the journalist stated viewers felt deeply pained and embarrassed by what happened after the speech - the Ampel coalition moved to the order of the day /given agenda. Terrible. I think they knew exactly the kinds of words President Zelenskyy would bring to them. He spoke about the new wall erected in the middle of Europe by Germany and its dedication to the economy (Wirtschaft) and only the economy. I am sure many were hanging their heads in shame, even Mr. Scholz. And well he should. Finally, the question came, Do the words, 'Never Again' have any meaning? I wept.

Thank you, Professor Snyder. I've donated to the military and for medical supplies. You write, "They know that Putin aims to destroy Ukraine as a state and nation, which means killing people, such as themselves, who care about it." A few minutes before I came here to read your post I read an article in the Kyiv Independent about a mother who was shot dead by a sniper in front of her husband and two young children. “They were shocked when they saw her. ‘Mom, mom’ they screamed. She did not respond.” (https://kyivindependent.com/national/russian-soldiers-shoot-dead-mother-of-two-as-she-drives-family-to-safety/). The Russian soldiers allowed the living to escape, but wouldn't allow them to take the mother. The father and the 8-year-old son were also shot. "Later that day, Svitlana’s parents returned to pick up their daughter’s body anyway.“Grandma and grandpa are heroes,” Andriy said. “They took a wheelbarrow and went there on foot. They opened the car door in front of the Russians, got their child, put her on the wheelbarrow, took some things that were there, and came back.”"

Extremely upsetting to see some of these images every day. Always upsetting to see not just the destruction of human life but also the attempt to eradicate sites of memory and culture.
