Lovely take on collage — funny that I should listen to it the day after I gave a keynote for the U of Chicago on collage in the work of the French Beat writer & translator Claude Pélieu — dealing with connections between verbal & visual collage. I 'm very much taken by your sense of "horizontal collage". Thank you.

Fascinating. Just curious, Dr. Snyder...will you add more pieces like your recent NYT essay? The explicit connections made between modern American Republicanism ("memory laws") and authoritarian regimes are critical in helping Americans see beyond the veneer of "protecting the youth", "stopping election fraud", etc.
