Hello friends of Ukraine -- Donations by individuals are great, but donations from large entities also would be very helpful. Anyone interested in discussing a strategy for this, please reach out: barry.coburn@att.net.

Let's be serious people. Help these Ukraine soldiers get the vehicles that will jam the Russian drones that are seeking out them and all citizens of Ukraine. It is possible to give only what you can afford and together we can truly help.

Donated enough to get a patch. Have been slowly building up my Serhiy Zhadan collection; I received "Voroshilovgrad" about a week ago.

Many Canadians read you regularly here. Can you suggest a Canadian donation program that would help this cause - or even set one up via a program like Canada Helps = with our without a charitable tax receipt Credit or debit cards would be a useful addition as well for us.

I think sharing this newsletter with our contacts could really help...such a powerful description of the inhumanity that the U.S. government is allowing/promoting...and an opportunity for We The People to not only resist the Regime but to help Ukraine. Amazing that Rump has welcomed TWO international war criminals onto U.S. soil

I made a donation, and could have made a larger one had it been possible to donate by check. As a retired person, over 70, with an IRA, I can make Qualified Charitable Distributions from the IRA with a dollar-for-dollar reduction in the taxable amount of my required annual distribution.

I am saying this for the benefit of fellow US retirees who may not be aware of the fact that they can get credit for charitable contributions even if they have less than the amount of total deductions necessary to itemize deductions.

Dear Prof. Snyder These few lines to thank you for your efforts on behalf of human freedom. When the history of this war and the global events surrounding it is written, it will be important to note the significant role of crowdfunding in achieving victory for Ukraine and a stable foothold for future freedom. The cry of freedom that sounded during the last election has dimmed in the public arena - but the urgent desire for it still exists in human souls. Your voice is being heard. Stay strong; be well. Best regards - Marguerite Miller   Prof. (emer.) Douglas Miller

If ever there is a good cause to donate this is it.

I know cash for guns and ammo are needed but I'm glad I can help by donating to items that protect against guns and ammo.

What I wrote when I subscribed... "I support your work particularly because you are a historian focusing on authoritarianism and antisemitism, and MOST particularly because unlike Parnas, Beinart, Schmidt, Shaun King, who I follow and unlike Jeffrey Sachs, who justifies the against Ukraine due to NATO expansionism, whereas you and Applebaum, fiercely oppose that war. Why do you think there is an exclusive focus on Gaza/West Bank?" It baffles me how many podcasts ignore Ukraine. I hope that Timothy addresses this issue in one of his writings.

Thank you, Prof Snyder, for providing us with ways to improve and expand our support for the Ukrainian people and for their self-defense forces members.

Thank you, Timothy, for organizing this. I have donated several times and would like to donate another $1,000. My funds come from my donor-directed account at Schwab that I endowed when I was working. So I already have the tax deduction. I just need the tax ID number to donate from my fund. Is this the correct fund for this campaign? Patriots for Ukraine, Tax ID 93-4665087, in Orlando, FL?

Already been there and done that. A third of my social security goes toward supporting Ukraine. This initiative was a few days over the line but hey, I didn't need those new socks and a sweater.

i have donated over a $100,000 to Ukrainian organizations that help children... but I must say seeing.a patch with your face, Tim.... and labelled Snyder, was a gesture of such hubris and self promotion -- it made me nauseous... you are a deterrent to donating... always bragging. An autographed book that you wrote... always selling yourself in the guise of support for Ukraine. ..

...I am a founding member of Thinking About but feel sad at what you have become.

You do know the topics he writes about, correct? How his writings help all of us to better understand what we are experiencing in the U.S. and globally, including specifically in Ukraine? That he's been in Ukraine many times? And now he's asking all of us who respect him and rely on his depth of knowledge to raise funds that will dramatically help those in Ukraine in the line of fire? The irony of you accusing him of bragging after your first sentence says it all.
